Sangeeta and Greg started out planning a gorgeous wedding for about 200 of their closest family and friends who would be traveling from all over the world to celebrate their marriage in a destination halfway between the groom’s family home and where the bride and groom first met.  We had accommodations set, travel arrangements made, and all the wedding plans in place in anticipation of May 30th!  And then COVID happened…  like every other bride and groom planning a Springtime wedding, these plans had to be extremely altered with some plans canceled altogether.  Our bride and groom eventually came to terms with this new reality and although the larger wedding they had hoped for had to be canceled, their love for each other pushed them straight through to create a wedding day of dreams with love and family anyway…. it just looked a little bit differently.

What looked different?  Our venue was now the couple’s apartment, the guest list was now 10-15 and stayed on the ground floor outside watching the couple say their vows from the balcony above, our vendors were now contracted from a new location and instead of family and friends traveling to share their wedding day, zoom and live stream became our best way of connection.

Sangeeta and Greg had a very organic decor style for their original wedding and I believe we accomplished that same organic look at their home with lush greenery, tapestry, brass vessels, and candles.  Their favorite baker made a wedding cake just for them and each guest was given a gift bag with their own individual cake to bring home and enjoy.

COVID weddings became a “thing” of reality this spring and this sweet couple certainly did not let the situation stop them from celebrating the best day of their lives with the people who meant the most to them.  This team of vendors was incredible and worked so hard to create a day our bride and groom would never forget!  I was truly honored to be a part of this very special wedding day.  Thank you to Sangeeta and Greg and their families for including me in their celebrations both in the Southeast and on the west coast in Los Angeles California.

Thank you to this fabulous team of wedding pros:
