Nicole dreamed of a winter wedding in December to marry the love of her life Drew. She chose the elegant wedding reception venue The Club Birmingham to hold her elaborate wedding reception draped with white linen, elegant lighting and delicious food for guests to enjoy. Nicole and her bridesmaids all enjoyed a refreshing morning at Halcyon Days Salon and Spa with hair and make up by Melissa Bogardus of Joyce’s Formals. Nicole was glowing from the very start of the day!
Nicole wore a gorgeous gown from Ivory and White Bridal Salon in Crestline Alabama. A perfect choice for this stunning bride with lace from top to bottom and a gorgeous plunging back.
The textures, colors and beautiful floral blooms made up a stunning bridal bouquet for bride Nicole created by Mandy Majerik of Hot House Design Studio and perfect for a winter weather themed wedding day.
Nicole and Drew chose to have a first look privately in the sanctuary of their church Bluff Park United Methodist Church in Homewood Alabama. It’s such a special moment for a bride and a groom before the family and guests arrive to celebrate in this wonderful day ahead!
Beautiful bride Nicole takes her walk down the aisle holding tightly to her daddy’s arm
Pretty bridesmaids in pretty pink blush holding wintry textured bouquets so sweet and perfect for the season
With the colder air moving in and feeling the winter chill, Nicole is wrapped in fur of winter white
Enjoying a moment alone right and that newly married “glow” right after the ceremony
Simple yet elegant centerpieces for the guest seating tables adorned with classic Ivory linens by BBJ Linens Atlanta and surrounded by silver chiavari chairs from Event Rentals Unlimited. Tons of candle light adds warmth to this winter evening of elegance.
What better way to warm the guests than a hot chocolate and coffee bar complete with all the trimmings of chocolate shavings, marshmallows, cinnamon sticks and whipped cream!
One of my very favorite moments of the night was when the parents of the bride arrived before any of the guests and got to see the ballroom untouched and ready for their guests arrival.. The band cued and these excited parents of the bride danced… alone on the dance floor! What a special memory for them!! All of our spectacular lighting and draping design was created by Andy Tolar, Owner of Design Productions LLC.
Nicole and Drew were introduced into the ballroom with a thunderous applause as they went right into their first dance together as husband and wife.
…. And they danced and they danced the night away!!
Time to cut this delicious wedding cake of strawberry and vanilla created by Barb Sullivan of Barb’s Cakes
A gorgeous display of pies and desserts brought in by Chef Bob and sitting atop this lovely dessert table is a cake display of the groom’s beloved cat Bodroux, made of all fondant including the blue blanket he sits on.
It’s all magic for the bride, groom and their guests even down to the bouquet toss where the girl who catches the bouquet is the next lucky girl to marry!
The end to a perfect day and a perfect evening and the beginning of a beautiful life together!!
